I started into snowboarding stuff since I watched the Olympic game last year. Halfpipe is a never-better winter sports I've ever seen. Then Shaun White who finished at first place and Markku Koski who took third place became my fave riders.
I feel so empty. :(
I had been really looking forward to that great event, which is of course Toyota Big Air, but now it was over. How sad..
I met Markku Koski, Antti Autti, Risto Matilla, Danny Davis, Kevin Pearce, and other cool riders... I've never expected that that competition was such a spectacular event! The kicker, all spotlights, video billboards, fire works, music... everything was just amazing!! (it was really cold though...)
Well, the result goes like: 1. Kevin Pearce 2. Risto Matilla 3. Antti Autti, Nicolas Muller.
My Fave rider Markku Koski couldn't make his trick so was eliminated.
That was so sad.
Kevin was replaced by Luke Mitrani who had a trouble with his ankle, so I didn't know well about him. However I found that he really is a young talented great rider. Maybe many young riders other than Kevin are gunning for Shaun White..!!
After the competition, my friend and I headed for the club where they're going to have the after party. All riders were supposed to be there, but Markku was not.
Sad sad sad.....
I'm not really a party person that means I've never been to that kind of place before! However I thought I could have a chance to talk to him..so ..um.. I kinda understand he was not there. I still have a regret about not meeting Markku at the after party, but other riders made that day very memorable!!
I hear Antti and Risto are going to compete at the upcoming competition, Burton Japan Open. (Antti says that he loves Japanese competition and audience, which is really lovely to hear!) Last year's winner was Danny Davis and Kevin took 4th place. Are Markku Koski and Shaun White going to get riding there..?? Either way, I can't go though.. :'(
Ahh... I wanna go to see the halfpipe! If I could I'd like to see Markku and Shaun are on the podium someday..
My fave japanese Juddjones site has closed, which made me really sad. They're still not that famous in slashy way in Japan. WHY??
I cleaned up the photobucket file and found some JuddJones pictures, so I want to update them here. (They're very old though..)I might be busy tomorrow, so maybe the other day :D
I've been using this livejournal for three years only for web browsing.. But I decided to write or post something about my personal stuff :D I'm not sure whether I can keep to do that......I'll try, though.
Anyways, Christmas is coming soooon!! Yayy!! But what I'm really looking forward to is a New Year party with my family and friends! I'm going to go back to my hometown on the 19th, ooh it's soon! It's been four years since I spent Christmas and a new year time with my family last.... Hopefully I would have a wonderful time!
These pictures from my fave cafe. It's really good to visit there in this season!! You can also have a special cake set with this cute caffe mocha, which always makes me smile... :) Last year, I could get a free ticket for a Snoopy exhibition, but this year is not. :( But they gave me Snoopy postcards, so well, it's okay.
Tomorrow, I will be busy cleaning up my room before I leaving here. Grrrr... too messy.
